My Way to Well-being
A group program providing strategies for strengthening mental health and well-being.
What is My Way to Well-being?
My Way to Well-being is a free six-week group program for people aged 18 and over who live, work, or study in the Cardinia or Kingston Shires (those in the South Eastern Melbourne Primary Health Network catchment region may also be considered).
It provides participants with proven strategies and skills they can use to manage their mental health and enrich their emotional well-being. The program also looks at the impact mental health can have on communication and relationships.
Facilitated by mental health professionals, it is a safe space where people can learn and practice together, helping them find and implement what works best for them.
What will this short course help you with?
This course aims to build your understanding of:
- What depression is and ways to manage depressive feelings
- What anxiety is and ways to manage anxious feelings
- Mental health and mental illness
- How our emotions and communication styles can impact on our relationship with others
Who can join My Way to Well-being?
My Way to Well-being is available if you:
- are aged 18 years or older
- live, work, or study in the Cardinia or Kingston Shires (those in the South Eastern Melbourne Primary Health Network catchment region may also be considered)
- are comfortable and able to participate in group-based learning.
How long is each session?
Each session is two hours. There are six sessions. One per week, over 6 weeks.
Online Groups, please note:
To participate in our online groups, you must join the Zoom sessions from a safe and private space, with a camera on so you are visible to the group. We are unable to include participants while driving or caring for children.
When is the next intake?
Term 1 (2025) Schedule
Date: Tuesdays, February 25 – April 1 (6 sessions)
Time: 12:30 pm – 2:30 pm
Location: Online via Zoom
