Free program to strengthen your mental health and well-being
This free program to strengthen your mental health and well-being is facilitated by Better Place Australia. The program is called My Way to Well-being and is for those who are 18 and over and live/work/study in the Cardinia or Kingston Shires, (those in the South Eastern Melbourne Primary Health Network catchment region may also be considered).
The program imparts strategies and skills to strengthen your mental health and well-being. It’s held in a group format, facilitated by a mental health professional.
The program is held online via Zoom and is a safe space to learn and practice with the other participants and facilitator, and can help you find, and implement, what works best for you.
Each session is 2 hours long, one session per week for 6 weeks.

You will learn strategies and skills to manage your mental health and enrich your emotional well-being. The free program to strengthen your mental health and well-being also looks at the impact mental health can have on your communication and relationships.
This course can help you:
- learn ways to cope with strong emotions such as sadness and worry
- learn about mental health and mental illness
- learn how your emotions impact on your relationships with others
- better express or communicate your feelings to others
Who can join My Way to Well-being?
My Way to Well-being is available if you:
- are aged 18 years or older
- live/work/study in the Cardinia or Kingston Shires
- live, work, or study in the Cardinia or Kingston Shires (those in the South Eastern Melbourne Primary Health Network catchment region may also be considered).
- are comfortable and able to participate in group-based learning

This free program to strengthen your mental health and well-being is easy to attend because it is online via Zoom. You’re kindly advised to join the sessions from a safe and private space, with a camera on so you are visible to the group. We are unable to include participants while driving or caring for children.
