Why Would I Need a Children's Contact Service?
Children’s Contact Services provide safe and nurturing environments for children to establish and maintain their relationship with parents under difficult circumstances such as parental separation.
It’s important to remember that family turmoil can be a challenging experience for your child. The emotional dynamic between family members can be emotionally draining and effect your child’s mental health and well-being. Children have the right to safe and meaningful relationships. In many cases, contact arrangements in the form of supervised visits may be the best option to ensure your child is able to spend time with both parents, minimising stress and conflict.
Better Place Australia has Children’s Contact Services in Narre Warren and Sale.

What Can I Expect at Better Place Australia's Children's Contact Service?
The following video provides a brief introduction to BPA’s Children’s Contact Services. You will have an understanding of what to expect, as well as how we create an environment that cultivates and nurtures relationships between children and their parents.
Do The Parents Need To Interact at a BPA Children's Contact Service?
No. Parents and extended family involved do not need to make direct contact with one another.
We understand that the difficulty of separation can necessitate distance between the parents of a child. That’s why we facilitate changeovers for visits to ensure a more enriching experience for the children. Our staff can facilitate the arrival and departure of parents at different times, to reduce any stress and anxiety and maintain a safe changeover and visitation.
