Cheltenham office opening

Better Place Australia, one of Victoria’s leading provider of relationship services, has today launched its new head office and brand in Cheltenham.

Formerly known as FMC Mediation and Counselling, the event introduces the new Better Place Australia brand and the launch of the organisation’s new five-year strategy.
The office was officially opened by Shadow Attorney-General Mark Dreyfus QC MP, who unveiled the official plaque at the premises at the Thursday launch. The launch was also
attended by Mr Tim Wilson MP, member for Goldstein and Mr Brad Rowswell MP, Member for Sandringham.

“The new brand reflects the changing face of Australia,” Mr Sardo said. “The world is becoming increasingly more complex, our lives more hectic and challenging. The impact of a
distressing life event can feel greater for some and it is vital for them to have somewhere they can turn to for guidance and support.

“Unfortunately, 45% of our Mediation clients report experiencing family violence and we are seeing demand for our Respecting Elders service for older people grow at an unprecedented rate. An increasing number of people are also seeing our financial counsellors crippled with debt issues. With our new facilities, we will be able to cater to more clients.”

our services in high demand.” Mr Sardo continues. “The opening of the new head office will enable better facilities for delivering high quality services close to public transport.”

The new Better Place Australia head office is located at 16 Park Road, Cheltenham and will provide a suite of family and relationship services ranging from Mediation, financial
counselling and psychological services, and conflict resolution services for older people.
