Elisabeth
Accredited Mental Health Social Worker

I am an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker with extensive experience supporting diverse clients throughout my career, including more than 10 years with Better Place Australia.

Having grown up with close friends and family in the LGBTIQ+ community and working alongside community members for many years, I bring deep respect and understanding to my practice.

I strive to offer a safe, secure space where people can arrive as they are and work from where they feel most comfortable.

Joshua
Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner

I am a nationally accredited Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner with significant experience assisting families through complex and sensitive circumstances, including family violence, mental health concerns, and child safety issues.

As a proud queer practitioner, my practice is grounded in a deep understanding and empathy for the unique experiences, strengths and challenges faced by LGBTIQ+ parents and family systems.

I approach every case with care and professionalism, helping families move toward clarity, safety, and resolution through a respectful and hopeful process.

Meg
Child Counsellor

I am a child counsellor in the Supporting Children After Separation Program, working with children and families to understand and navigate their unique experiences.

I see the LGBTIQ+ community as one that champions curiosity, openness, inclusion, and joy, and these values shape my work every day.

My approach centres on creating a safe, supportive space where children and families feel understood, and I remain committed to ongoing learning in this ever‑evolving area.

Megan

FARS Counsellor

I am a counsellor and therapist with over two decades of experience working with individuals, couples, and families across private practice and community health settings.

As a proud ally of the LGBTIQ+ community, I draw on my lived experiences and commitment to acceptance to ensure every client feels safe, respected, and supported.

My practice is grounded in authentic, non‑judgemental, evidence‑based therapy designed to meet people exactly where they are.

Susan
SCaSP Program Coordinator / Child Counsellor

I am a counsellor specialising in children and adolescents, with a strong focus on strengths‑based identity development as part of the therapeutic process.

As an LGBTQIA+ ally and a member of an LGBTIQ+ family, I bring both personal insight and professional experience to my work.

I am dedicated to cultivating a safe, inclusive, and affirming environment where young people feel empowered, seen, and supported as they explore who they are.
